TULLAHOMA FUNERAL HOME

Cortney Elizabeth Swinford, age 17, of Normandy passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1991 in Tullahoma and had attended Tullahoma Public Schools and was currently a senior at Cascade School. She attended the Breakfree Worship Center where she was active in the Reflections youth group.

She is survived by her father and step mother Chris and Moranda Swinford, Normandy;  four brothers Kyle Swinford, Cale White and Jagger Steele all of Normandy and Quinton Riddle of Winchester; grandparents Phillip and Juanita Swinford, Tullahoma and David and Julie Steele, Estill Springs. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Marvin and Ethel Gipson and Elijah Swinford.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday night from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Tullahoma Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, with Pastor Chad Conn officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery.
