Biography

Lawrence “Larry” Ernest May, age 70, of Tullahoma, passed away March 1, 2010 in Winchester. A native of Cassopolis, MI., he was the son of the late Walter L. May and Irene Grace Proctor. He was a machinist with Franklin County and a member of Unity Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy May in 2009 and one brother; Kenny May.

Mr. May is survived by seven sons; William R. Beard of Manchester, Rollie H. (Christy) Beard, of Guntersville, AL., Joseph C. (Crystine) Hall of Tullahoma, Chris A. (Kathy) May of Winchester, Gregory L. May of Tullahoma, Ernest W. May of Center Grove, and Jeremy M. May of Abilene, TX., two daughters; Belinda (Mike) Forbes of Abilene, TX., and Dianna (Dave) McFall of Gainsville, MO., three brothers, Danny May of Hillsboro, William May of Ohio, and Richard May of Abilene, TX, and one sister; Marquita May of Chieftain, FL., 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Bro.
