Betty Sue Riddle

Betty Sue Riddle, age 91, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at NHC of Tullahoma.

Betty was born on June 18, 1932, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Lillard and Flora Marsh Carrick. She was a member of Tullahoma’s First Nazarene Church. She previously owned Betty & Johnnys restaurant at Tims Ford Marina, and previously managed the Holiday Marina in Winchester. Her life was her faith, family, and friends. To know her, was to be loved by her. She had a spunky and strong personality and enjoyed living life to the fullest. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the junction, cooking, fishing, and embroidery. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Riddle; two brothers, Glenn Carrick and Lester Carrick. She is survived by her loving children, Tommy Lowe (Teresa), Vickie Keebler (George), Judy Galigher, Susie Austell (Earl), and Maryjo Carlson; two sisters, Dorothy Foster (Orville) and Nancy Keele (Billy); thirteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Roberts and Pastor Elbert Smith officiating. Internment to immediately follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home.
