Diane Bahr, age 86, of Normandy, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021.
Born in Bloomington, Indiana, on December 22, 1934, to the late Richard and Neva Pearse, Diane devoted her life to being a loving daughter, terrific mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a 1957 Indiana University graduate and practiced as a Registered Nurse for the American Red Cross. Considered highly intelligent, Diane was very interested in the lives and wellbeing of others and always had an answer to any questions asked. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading British mysteries, talking with her friends daily on the phone and taking care of her precious cats. She will be missed dearly.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Linda Brucks.
Survivors include three children, Evan (Cookie) Bahr, Jon (Susan) Bahr and Kate (Ross) Houser; seven grandchildren, David Bahr, Andrew Bahr, Ian Bahr, Rachel (Shawn) Ruhlin, Rebecca (Evan) Cartabiano, Anna (Michael) Sudberry and Ross (Leann) Houser III; and eight great grandchildren, Lydia, Eddie, Wyatt, Cora, Charlie, Reid, Genevieve and Lucy.
A private funeral mass will be conducted at Corpus Christi Chapel in Franklin, Tennessee on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Interment to follow at Divine Mercy Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
