Ernest “Ernie” Ray Jacks, age 45 of Winchester, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 2, 2023. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on March 2, 1978.
Ernie drove a truck for twenty-five years, a job he dearly loved, and had most recently been a self-employed carpenter. He was passionate about music and enjoyed listening to several different genres, and loved playing the guitar. But most of all, Ernie loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Aiden Brewer; father, H.C. Jacks; and sister, Miranda Tolentino. Ernie is survived by his wife, Rhonda Jacks of Winchester; children, Angel (Josh) Norris of Lexington, North Carolina, Jamie Jacks of Lexington, North Carolina, Chandler (Kristen) Knight of Pennsylvania; Tabitha (Justin) Brewer of Winchester, Kelsey (Detrell) Grady of Tullahoma, Ariel (Jeff) Burt of Winchester, Honey (Nathan) Harmon of Manchester, and Christopher (Brittany) Smith of Shelbyville; mother, Sharion (Mark) Gentile of Winchester; sisters, Felicia (Johnny) Kerr of Belvidere, and Angelia Jacks of Winchester; mother-in-law, Brenda Sisk of Winchester; father-in-law, Billy (Debbie) Sisk of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Nova Norris, Renley Norris, Dalton Hall, Lexus Hall, Arianna Brewer, Kingston Snipes, Max Knight, Bowie Knight; and one on the way; and special aunt, Teresa Brewer (Larry Elliott).
Visitation will be from 2-3 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023, and 12-2 pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
