Frances "Marie" Moore

Frances “Marie” Moore, age 69, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

A Coffee County native, born to the late Joe and Lucille Sanders, “Marie” devoted her life to being a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Of the Baptist faith, “Marie” enjoyed attending the local church fellowship, Maranatha Baptist Church, working crossword puzzles, cooking and being outdoors fishing or simply admiring her flowers. She will forever be remembered as an “outgoing woman who loved everyone and everyone loved her.” Marie will surely be missed by her family and friends.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Billy Ray Moore; two daughters, Wendy Evans and Patricia Tankersley; and one brother, Curtis Sanders.

Survivors include one son, James “Matt” (Jessica) Guthrie; three daughters, Linda (Chris) Dodson, Christy (James) Austell and Judy Spurlock; four brothers, James (Ann) Sanders, Ray (Violet) Sanders, Donald Sanders and Jim Sanders; one sister, Helen (Wayne) Vaughn; twenty one grandchildren, Preston, Jessica, Amanda, Andrea, Kellie, Kailyn, Davin, Jaden, Dakota, Dillion, Kristen, Jamie, Ashley, Alysa, Corrie, Alyssa, Cassie, Collin, Josh, Justin and Quinton; and twenty four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Tullahoma Funeral Home on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11AM-1PM.

Funeral services will be held, on the same day, at 1PM with Bro. Rick Everhartt officiating.

Interment to immediately follow at Powell Cemetery in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
