Harold “Hal” Nelson, Jr. age 89 of Williamsburg, VA, passed away at Brookdale on November 1st, 2023. He was born on October 27th, 1934 to parents Harold Nelson, Sr. and Emma Gilje Nelson in Northfield, MN.

Hal was a retired project manager of rocket engineering for the US Air Force. He had his Masters degree in aero engineering from Penn State.

Hal is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Emma Nelson; his loving wife, Bobbie Lee Oldfield - Nelson; and his sister, Sarah Luella Geannette.

A graveside service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at 1:00 PM for friends and family to gather to honor Mr. Harold Nelson, Jr.
