Heather Anne Dobruck Myers, age 71, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, following a long-term illness, on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
Born in Quebec, Canada, to the late Allan and Gladys Edwards, Heather devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #8422 of Smyrna, Tennessee, where she formerly served as President of The Women’s Auxiliary. Heather enjoyed going to the beach, crafting, knitting, collectibles, shopping, dressing up nicely and playing games on her phone, especially Casino. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Heather will be missed dearly.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by five special dogs, Goldie, Snickers, Bambi, Onyx and Pepper; and two special cats, Ashley and J.J.
Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Timothy “Tim” Dobruck; one daughter, Kristina (Mack) Morton; one brother, Colin (Judy) Edwards; very special granddaughter, Alexis Morton; Daughter by love, Kelly (Michael) Lawson and Children, Keli (Jason) Mayo and Child, and "bonus family" Tammy (Paul) Meyer, Mary Williams and Debbie (Joe) Bennett; and a host of other special friends and family.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at VFW Post #1893 of Woods Reservoir, 1600 AEDC Rd., Estill Springs, Tennessee, 37330, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 1-4PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tullahoma Funeral Home for funeral expenses or the Go Fund Me Account established in her name.
