Leonard Reid Wilkerson, age 80, of Wartrace, Tennessee, passed away September 22, 2023, at home after an extended illness.

He was born on January 30, 1943, to the late Andrew and Mary Owens Wilkerson. He retired from Nashville Gas Company.

He is survived by his wife, Bettye Wilkerson; son, Andrew Wilkerson (Angela); daughters, Kathy Brooks (Joe) and Kristy Di Medrano (Ruggero-Z); six grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Daniel), Brittany Zealy (Gavin), Ashley Wakefield (David), Jennifer MacDonald (Josh), Corey Haynes, and Cason Wix; eight great grandchildren, Audrina, Skyler, Abigail, Boston, Arabella, Greenlee, Emily, and Evelyn.

Per his wishes he will be cremated, and no services will be held.
