Virginia Lois Day

 Virginia Lois Burns Jones Day, age 92, of Normandy, Tennessee, passed away in the comfort of her own home, on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, on May 5, 1930, to the late Felix and Francis Burns. Virginia devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  

 In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her first husband, Woodrow W. Jones; second husband, George B. Day; daughter, Jane Jones Swift; one son, Joseph Barry Jones; two great grandsons, Rowan Rosetti and Korre Duke- Day. She is survived by her children, Bobby Joe Huston (Kay), David Phillips Jones (Michelle), Mark Stephen Jones (Glenda), George Michael Day (Deb), Wynelle Anne Day Templeton (Rick), Wendell Van Day (Cyndee), and Wanda Jayne Day Smith (Stacy); grandchildren, Michelle Haney Cassevah, Katrina Cassevah, Joseph Robert Hutson, Eve Jones, DeeDee Jones Burgess, Brandi Nichole Jones, Pamela Diane Jones, Jordan Lipscomb Duke-Day, Morgyn Wynelle Templeton, Adam Alexander Templeton, George Brian Day, Monica Lee Day Skinner, Ezra, and Eli; great grandchildren, ,Aiden, Alley, Hunter, Maddox, Natalie, Parker, Penelope, Cason, Libby, John, Keeley, Alyssa, MacKenzie, Luke Stephen Jones, Olivia Ann Jones, Kaida, Eimie, Kacey, and Abbey.
